Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview
Marketing Bloom respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of the information we hold about you, including data obtained from connected social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and others.
2. What Data We Store
- Account information (name, email, password hash)
- Content you upload for distribution (text, images, videos)
- OAuth access tokens for social platforms you have connected
- Publishing history and analytics for your content
- Profile information returned by connected platforms (e.g. user ID, username, profile picture)
3. How to Delete Your Data
Option A — Delete from inside the app
- Log in at https://marketingbloom.ai/login.
- Go to Settings → Account and click Delete Account.
- Confirm the action. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Option B — Disconnect a single platform
If you only want to remove data obtained from one platform (for example YouTube, Google Analytics, or Search Console), go to Connections → Platforms, find the platform, and click Disconnect. A dialog will offer two choices:
- Keep history — we revoke the OAuth token immediately but preserve aggregate stats already imported (so your historical dashboards stay populated).
- Delete history — we revoke the OAuth token AND delete every imported post, view, like, comment, and analytics row tied to that account from our database. This action cannot be undone.
For Google services (YouTube, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console), disconnecting also revokes our access via Google's OAuth token-revocation endpoint. You can additionally revoke our access at any time directly from Google Account → Third-party access.
Option C — Email request
If you cannot access your account, send an email to [email protected] from the email address registered with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- Your registered email address
- The platform(s) you want disconnected (optional — leave blank to delete everything)
We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
4. Data That May Be Retained
We may retain limited records when required by law, for fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes (for example billing records or security logs). Retained records are kept only for as long as required and remain protected under our Privacy Policy.
5. Revoking Platform Access Directly
You can also revoke Marketing Bloom's access to your social accounts from the platform itself:
- Facebook / Instagram / Threads: Business Integrations settings
- Google / YouTube: Third-party apps with account access
- X (Twitter): Connected apps
Revoking access on the platform side stops future API calls but does not automatically delete data we have already stored — use one of the options above to delete that data.
